Hi Again Folks! While one of the main words you can use to describe Regent Seven Seas is Ultra-Luxury, another is definitely consistency. Each night we consistently get great food, great entertainment and great service. Couple all that with this amazing itinerary and you pretty much have excellence!
Tonight we had dinner again in Compass Rose and got to sit at one of our favorite tables with our favorite waiters. And while we love that consistency we also love that they change the menu every night. Tonight I had the Norwegian Gravlax and the Panko Crusted Poached Egg for my two sides. For my main I had the Barramundi Fillet. Then for dessert I had the Golden Baked Apple. As always, everything was very tasty!
After dinner we went to a great show by the Regent Singers, Dancers and Orchestra called “The Great American song Factory”. We’ve seen this show before on Regent and never get tired of it. It’s described as a peek inside the hit manufacturing machine that was the Brill Building at 1619 Broadway in New York City. It’s where legendary songwriting teams generated the music that defined the 1950’s and ‘60’s.
With songs from the likes of Elvis Presley, Dionne Warwick, Bobby Darin and many more, it was a toe tapping night of great music. And there were also several sing alongs. Fun show!
After the show we listened to Rod play the piano in the Navigator Lounge. We then called it a night. Tomorrow we are in Honfleur, France. We’ve never docked there before so we’re excited to check it out! Hope everyone had a great Wednesday!
