Hi Again Folks! We had another night of amazing food and great entertainment! We started off with dinner at Prime 7 which I would say is one of the best steakhouses at sea. The food and service there is top notch.
I was trying to eat a little healthier this cruise but tonight I said forget that! This food is too good! So they always start you off with this smoky tomato soup as an amuse bouche. I then piled it on with three starters which were the Lump Crab Cake, the Seared Diver Scallop with Pork Belly Confit, and the Beefsteak Tomato and Pickled Red Onion Salad. For my main I had this amazing Bone-In Ribeye Steal cooked to perfection. Whew that was a lot of food! So I went light with the dessert and got the Fresh Seasonal Berries. Stuffed!
After dinner we went to the show which was just the Regent singers and orchestra (no dancers) doing a show called “Broadway in Concert”. They sang some great Broadway tunes from the classics to more recent favorites. It was an excellent show and a lot of toe tapping going on!
After the show we listened to Rod the pianist play in the Navigator Lounge. Given our long day (and full bellies!), we called it a night. Tomorrow we are cruising thru the Kiel Canal. We’ve never been thru there so excited to experience something new. Hope everyone had a great weekend!
