Hi Again Gang! Still haven’t gotten the space issue resolved on my blog so I can’t post any pictures. Sorry! And tonight would have been some really good food pics! Kathy took me to the specialty restaurant called The Verandah for an early birthday present. (Rumor has it the big day is tomorrow)!
But in true Irish Duo band groupie fashion, we got ready for dinner early and went and listened to our good friends the Blackthorn Duo at 6:45. We then went to dinner at 7:45. I once again had the ribeye, which is so delicious, for my main and I tried the Clam Chowder for the appetizer and it was really good as well. For dessert I got the same as last time which was the Dark Chocolate Fondant. I hate that I can’t share the pictures since it all looked so good and tasted even better!
After dinner we went to the show which was a group of four guys called the Flashback Four. If you’ve ever seen the musical Jersey Boys, that’s what the show was like. Lots of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons as well as The Beach Boys and other bands from the 50’s and 60’s. Such great music and lots of toe tapping and singing along. So fun!
After the show we went to the Golden Lion Pub and listened to the Southeast 9 Duo. We like them a lot also and since there were no more Blackthorn Duo shows tonight they filled the gap. We crashed after that. We do have a sea day tomorrow but lose an hour of sleep to get us back on Seattle time in prep for our last two full days. Can’t believe this trip is almost over! And tomorrow is a BIG day! Actually the best on the calendar! Lol. Hope everyone had a great Friday!
