Hi Again Folks! Well more apologizing again tonight… no food pics! We haven’t been overly impressed with the Britannia Restaurant menu (and service for that matter!) so we decided to eat at the Lido buffet again tonight. And that’s with the food theme being Indian (and I don’t necessarily care for Indian food!). Where’s my good friend Jeremy, who spent many years in India, when I need him to guide me on what to choose! Lol
But we found plenty to eat and didn’t starve (though it might be beneficial to starve for a few days!). The diet starts when we get home next week! I ate lots of chicken, shrimp and fish and have no idea what they were called but dang they were spicy! Ouch! But they were all good!
One of the other main reasons we ate at the Lido was we wanted to do a quick dinner so we could see all three performances of our Irish friends, the Blackthorn Duo. We missed them last night! So we caught their acts at 8:30 PM, 9:30 PM and 10:30 PM. Yep, we’re official Groupies! We even got there early to get front row seats! But they are sooo good! Lots of toe tapping and clapping and singing along. So fun!
After all those performances we called it a night. Tomorrow we are scenic cruising thru Misty Fjords National Monument. Years and years ago I took a float plane into there and landed on one of the islands. It was breathtaking but I’ve never cruised into that area so it should be fun.
