Hi Again All! Well you all will be happy to know the food porn is back! We decided to go to the Britannia Restaurant tonight so there are pictures of food and menus. I also snuck in a picture of the Holland America Nieuw Amsterdam ship that was docked in Juneau since we are taking her next year on our Alaska trip (yes, our 18th!). But next year we’re doing both the 7 day inside passage as well as the land portion to Denali National Park, Dawson City and the Yukon. That should be fun!
As for tonight, we had another great night of good food, good entertainment and good music. We hate that we missed our two favorite Duos tonight but otherwise it was a fun night. For dinner I started with the Crab/Shrimp Cakes and Caesar Salad for the appetizers, the Snapper for the main and the Apple/Berry Crisp for dessert. All was yummy!
After dinner we listened to a little of the big band music and watched all the people ballroom dance. After that we went to the show which was a singer/ventriloquist/impressionist named Michael Minor. He was great in all aspects of his show!
Afterwards we went to the Golden Lion Pub and listened to the A&D Duo (there’s lots of Duos on this ship!). That stands for Alejandro and Daisy and they too are good. After that we called it a night.
Tomorrow we are in Sitka and will be renting a car again and tooling around looking for bears! Hope everyone had a great Wednesday!
