Hi Gang! The words of today are WOW, WOW and WOW!! We had a scenic day cruising thru Glacier Bay National Park and even the park rangers said this was probably one of the clearest and warmest days they’ve ever seen. They said this area is part of a rain forest and it’s cloudy and rainy 90+% of the time and if not raining it’s usually cloudy and chilly. Today was sunny and 67 with hardly a cloud in the sky. So we were truly blessed today!
I’m going to let the pictures do the talking but give a brief summary of our day. The park rangers boarded our boat at 10, we went to their talk at 10:45, we had lunch at Noon, we visited their park store they set up at 1, we took in the beautiful scenery the rest of the day either on our balcony or on the bow on deck 5, the ship stopped at both Margerie Glacier and Lamplugh Glacier, we then finished off the afternoon listening to the park rangers talk about those cute little otters!
Whew, that was a run on sentence! Lol. I took so many pictures I’ll split them into two updates. They turned out nice but they don’t do the colors justice. This is why we cruise Alaska so much. And that’s why they call it God’s country!
I’ll do another update later tonight. Hope everyone’s having a great Sunday!
