Hi Again Gang! We had an amazing dinner tonight. We went to the Pinnacle Grill, which is one of their specialty restaurants, this one being a steakhouse. As they say, “When in Rome”… so steak/beef it was!
Kathy got the Boneless Ribeye Steak and I got the Beef Short Ribs. We shared the Clothesline Candied Bacon (that sucker is to die for!). I had Crab Cakes and Lobster Bisque for my other starters (had to throw some lobster in!). For dessert we both got the Warm Chocolate Stroopwafel Cobbler. Whoa… that was decadent!
After dinner we went to the show which was a female vocalist named Emma Kurij from Scotland. Her show was called “Soul Voyage” which was described as a captivating show celebrating the most iconic ladies of soul through the decades. She played Aretha Franklin, Gladys Knight, Tina Turner and Adele. Such great music!
After the show we listened to the piano players tickle the ivories! It was all requests again and so it was quite the variety!
We have a sea day tomorrow so lots of R&R is on tap! Hope everyone had a great weekend!
