Hi Again All! What a fun night we had tonight. We started with a great meal, then cool local entertainment and finished with our favorite jazz duo! Can’t beat it!
We started with dinner at Atlantide. We both had the same starters of the Water Paper Rolls first and the Thai Lettuce Wraps as the second. For our mains I got the Grilled Scallops and Kathy got the Veal Medallions. For dessert I had the All Chocolate Bar and Kathy special ordered the Peanut Bar from last night and they had it for her. Everything as always was excellent.
After dinner we went to the coolest show. They brought in the Tallinn Mixed Choir to sing lots of their local songs in their language which were all very beautiful. They even sang several songs they did at the Estonia Song Festival location that we visited. But the most emotional song they did was part of The Singing Revolution that even the Soviet KGB couldn’t shut down and led to their independence. So powerful! They even did one song in English which was Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah which the whole crowd sang along to. Such fun!
After the show we ended the night listening to Esther and Andre sing sweet jazz. Tomorrow we are again in Tallinn which we’re glad since we love it here! Hope everyone had a great weekend!
