Hi Again Gang! We had a nice last night on the ship. Dang this cruise went fast! We started with going to a pre-dinner show by one of the guitarists from The Rolling Stones Lounge named Aaron. This was his debut solo performance and he was really good. A star is born!
We got ready for dinner and for Valentine’s Day, I booked the specialty Italian restaurant named Canaletto. It was excellent! We started with the antipasti plate, the meatballs and tiger shrimp for appetizers. For the main I got the ossobuco and ended with a delicious tiramisu. All yummy!
After dinner we went to the show which was the Brazilian guitarist from the other night named Diego Figueiredo. He played lots of samba and bossa nova and in a throwback to our trip to Rio last month, he played “The Girl From Ipanema”!
After the show we listened to a little of the piano duo then came back to the room to finish packing and to set our suitcases in the hall.
Tomorrow we get off the ship and go to Kathy’s sister’s house to celebrate her twin nieces 40th birthday. That will be fun! We’ll spend the night there and fly back to Charlotte on Sunday. Hope everyone had a great Friday!
