Caribbean Getaway – Day 7 – Key West, FL – Pics Part 1!

Fri Feb 14, 2025

Hi Gang! Happy Valentine’s Day! We’re sad this is our last full day on the ship but we’re glad to be back in the good ol’ USA! And to be able to use our cell phones without the ship’s WiFi! Lol

We started the day having to go in person thru the customs and border control immigration inspection. Holland did a great job getting over 2,200 people thru the process quickly. When our group was called, it only took us 10 minutes to get thru. Nice!

We decided since we’ve both been here we wouldn’t do an expensive excursion. And being that we’re cheap (heck, how do you think we afford all these cruises??), we took the free bus that took you around the entire area. We stopped at the lighthouse, the southernmost point in the US, and the main shopping area called Mallory Square. Not bad for free!

We then walked around the pier area and took in all the beautiful boats at the marina. It was nice that we were docked right in the heart of the city. And it was another beautiful day with highs in the low 80’s. Felt like summer!

We got back on board and had a nice lunch then chilled by the pool and took in a movie on the outdoor big screen called “Diving with Dolphins”. Great movie!
I’ll do another update tonight after dinner (and packing… sad face!). TGIF to all!

PS: I think as we sailed into Key West this morning, I caught a glimpse of the Gulf of America!
