Hi Again Folks! We watched the Super Bowl outside by the pool on a cruise ship on a beautiful Caribbean night. It’s unreal when we realized we watched the Super Bowl last year on a cruise ship in Antarctica and next year we’ll be watching the Super Bowl on a cruise ship in Fanning Island, which is part of the Republic of Kiribati in the central Pacific Ocean. Are we blessed or what?!?
Too bad that one of us had a bad night and one had an OK night. Kathy was rooting for the Chiefs so she was not happy. I was really rooting against the Chiefs since I was tired of them winning so much so I had an OK night. I think the lucky charm for the Eagles was that I wore my old Jake Delhomme Carolina Panthers jersey from the 2004 Super Bowl the Panthers were in but lost. Oh well, ya never know!
We did eat some good junk food while watching the game all ordered on the ship’s app. We had a burger, fries, pizza and cookies. So that was fun. We stayed and watched the post game and then called it a night. Tomorrow is a sea day so we’ll get to sleep in. Hope everyone had a great weekend!
