Hi Folks! We were at Holland America’s private island today called Half Moon Cay in the Bahamas. It was a picture perfect day. Barely a cloud in the sky, crystal clear water, temps in the high 70’s, no humidity… it was truly an amazing day!
Since there is no dock there, we had to anchor off shore and tender in. Of course due to Kathy’s 4 Star Mariner status, we got priority to board the tender boats prior to everyone else. Have you noticed the pattern here?? Yes, I mooch off of all of Kathy’s privileges! We fly for free, we park at the airport for free, we boarded the ship early yesterday, we boarded the tenders early today… dang, I’m spoiled!
We had a nice relaxing day on the island. We walked the beach, took some pics, ate some good BBQ food, caught some rays and even got a little shopping in. All in all a very fun day!
We got back on board, got showered and went to park ourselves in some good seats near the TV over the pool to get ready for the SUPER BOWL!! Are you ready for some football?? We are! I’ll send another update later tonight after the game. Happy Sunday!!
