Hi Again All! We had a very nice first night on the ship. OK it ain’t Regent luxury and food but it’s pretty darn good. We started with dinner in the main dining room.
The service was very good and fast and we loved our waiters. And the food wasn’t bad either. I had the shrimp cocktail and caprese salad for starters with the Mahi Mahi for my main and the chocolate fudge brownie cheesecake for dessert. We enjoyed our waiters Gerald and Chad so much we asked if we can get their table every night!
After dinner we went to the show which was a comedian named Jose Sarduy. He was born in Cuba and came to the USA at a young age due to his family being deported. He grew up and joined the Air Force and eventually became a comedian! He was really really funny!
After the show we checked out the various live music venues. We went to the Billboard on Board (two piano players), The Rolling Stones Lounge (rock music band), and the BB King Blues Club (like a Memphis Blues joint). They were all good but we liked the two piano players, Zach and Grace, the best. The other nice thing about this ship is that all the music venues and the theater are all on the same deck so it’s easy to stroll from one to the other!
After that we crashed. Tomorrow we’re at their private island called Half Moon Cay in the Bahamas. Hope everyone had a great Saturday! Ciao for now!
