Hi All! We spent the whole day in Rio today. WOW! What a beautiful city! From the Christ the Redeemer statue (Corcovado) to Sugar Loaf Mountain to Copacabana and Ipanema beaches, this city has it all.
But we are really tired since we did two tours lasting from 8 AM to 6 PM. Then went back to the ship, showered, ate dinner and grabbed an Uber to the airport. Whew!
We just made it to the airport for our Midnight flight home from Rio to Miami to Charlotte. We hope to be home by around Noon on Sat. Yep, over 14 hours of travel but well worth it.
We’re flying standby and there’s only a few seats left so we hope we get on! I’m sending this before we know if we have seats so keep those prayers coming!
I’m not writing much today but will do an update after we get home sometime on Sat. Here’s just a sneak pic of a couple pics. TGIF!
