Hi Gang! While today was a sea day it was not any ordinary sea day. We crossed the equator at sea for the first time ever! Of course we’ve crossed it many times by air but never by sea.
So they had a ceremony around the pool to “initiate” the “Poliwags” who had never crossed and turn them into “Shellbacks”. It was overseen by Neptune, the God of the Sea, and to be initiated you had to kiss a fish. So Kathy did it but I didn’t. Yuk! Lol.
The cruise director was dressed up in a black robe and white wig to chair the ceremony. It was all in good fun and everyone had a blast. I’ll do another update tonight after dinner. Happy Hump Day!
