Hi Gang! Today we were docked in Bridgetown, Barbados. I’m going to make this brief since we didn’t do a whole lot! (But we’ve been here many times). We had an excursion planned to ride in a submarine and see all the tropical fish but it was cancelled due to the water being too choppy and us not being able to see the fish!
So Kathy went in to town to shop and I hung out at the pool. It was a beautiful day without a cloud in the sky but it got a little hot. Kathy got the obligatory tourist photo by the Barbados sign though! Afterwards we watched a little football and got ready to go to dinner. There was a full moon over the ocean. So beautiful!
Tonight we went to the specialty restaurant called Prime 7. That place has incredible steaks so we went all in and got the Bone in Ribeye, which the waiter said was the best and it was. Not sure how we had room but we shared the 14 layer chocolate cake too. What a great meal!
After dinner we went to the show which was the Regent singers and dancers. Their show was called “Divas and Devos” and was great songs from all the iconic singers. That group is really talented!
Afterwards we listened to the Regent band play 50’s Rock n Roll. We called it a night since we lose another hours sleep tonight so now we’ll be two hours ahead of East Coast time. But tomorrow we have a sea day so we can sleep in! Like I said, we’re getting caught up on our sleep this trip! Hope everyone had a great weekend!
