Hi Again All! Tonight was a night of food and football! We watched part of the Texans/Chargers game before dinner. Glad to see CJ Stroud have a good game and glad the Texans won.
After that we went to dinner at Compass Rose. We found a head waiter we really like, named Dennis, and asked to be seated in his area. He gave some recommendations for dinner and I ordered everything he suggested and it was delicious!
Started off with the mushroom tart and the celery root bisque soup for starters and the Prime Rib and Tiger Shrimp for the mains and Creme Brûlée for dessert. All were excellent!
After dinner we were going to go see the comedian/magician from the other night but decided to watch the Steelers/Ravens game instead. Kathy and I both love NFL football and with me being from Pittsburgh we decided to cheer on the Steelers!
PS: As I send this it’s halftime and the Ravens are winning 21-0! Oh well, there’s always next year!
