Hi Again Folks! We started off our evening with a fun event. This is a Regent tradition and they call it the “Block Party”. At 6 PM everyone comes out in the hallway to meet their neighbors and the Regent crew walk around and hand out champagne and appetizers. Fun and yummy!
We met several of our neighbors who are doing the full world cruise and picked their brains and got lots of great ideas and tips. If you do a world cruise or other long voyage, Regent gives you plaques to put on your door for the current world cruise and any past ones you did. Someone on our hall had lots of plaques on their door. Nice!
It was really fun and we were out there for almost an hour. Then we headed to Compass Rose for another amazing dinner. I had an all seafood dinner of Gravlax (salmon) and Seafood Risotto for appetizers and Dover Sole for my main. Very tasty! (And I gave the lobster a break tonight!)
After dinner we went to see the MidAtlantic Men who were the three singers from a few nights ago. The two Americans and one Brit. They sang a mixture of American and British tunes. They were once again very entertaining!
After that we listened to the Regent band play music from the 60’s. They started off with Van Morrison with Brown Eyed Girl and ended with Elvis with Can’t Help Falling in Love. What a great decade of music!
After that we called it a night. Tomorrow we finally reach land! We’ll dock at Roseau on the island of Dominica but don’t get there until 1 PM so we get to sleep in again. We’re catching up on our sleep on this cruise! Hope everyone had a great Friday!
