Hi Again Gang! We had another great evening. We started early at 6:15 PM with the Captain’s Farewell and the Crew Parade in the Venetian Lounge. The Captain’s Farewell is where the Captain says goodbye and wishes everyone safe travels. Then the Crew Parade is where they have almost the entire crew parade on stage and we all thank them for their hard work. They really are a great crew!
Then they had an early show at 6:30 PM called Motown. The Silver Ray singers and dancers did lots of great songs from the Motown era ranging from the Supremes to the Temptations. What great music!
We then went to dinner at Atlantide. We hadn’t been there the last few nights so it was nice to go back. Since I had all that seafood at lunch I held off on the lobster but I did get the Dover Sole! And once again we skipped dessert since there was no chocolate! Saved us the calories.
After dinner they had a fun game show called Majority Rules. It’s a fun question and answer game where the majority answer is always the correct answer even if it’s wrong! Here are some of the questions with what the majority answer was. Q: If you shopped at the “Husband store” what feature would you look for? A: Money. Q: What is the most annoying habit of men? A: Snoring! Q: What’s the most annoying habit of women? A: Talking too much! Fun game!
After that we ended our night as usual listening to Alfredo play piano in the Dolce Vita Lounge. Tomorrow we are in Palma de Mallorca, an island off the coast of Spain. Very excited to visit since we’ve never been there before! Hope everyone had a great Thursday!
PS: Shout out to my oldest daughter whose birthday is today! Happy Birthday and we’ll all celebrate together this Sunday!
