Hi Gang! We were docked in Palermo today, the Capitol of Sicily. We had a great day but a very long day! We got up early and did our own walking tour of Palermo thanks to our handy dandy Rick Steves guide book!
We got back to the ship about 12:30 or so, had a quick lunch and then went back out for a 4 hour tour going all over Palermo. We definitely got our steps in today. I’m too tired to write much so I’ll let the pictures do the talking.
But the fun part was our tour included these two huge and delicious cannoli from the bakery of the convent at Santa Catarina church. Mama Mia! We were so stuffed we didn’t even eat dinner. Just had some late night snacks.
I’ll break this update into two parts. One from our morning walk and one from our afternoon excursion. Hope everyone’s having a great Tuesday!
