Hi Again Gang! OK, mark it on your calendars… Tuesday Nov 19, 2024, The Day That Will Live in Infamy (I think I’ve heard that line before??)… we did not eat dinner! While on a cruise ship! Seriously, I ain’t lying… that cannoli put us over the edge. And we took a long nap too! Dang!
But we did wake up in time to go to the show (and sneak a little snack of popcorn!). And WOW, was it a show. One of the best ones so far on this cruise. Our favorite piano player Alfredo finally got promoted to the main stage at the Venetian Lounge to have his own show accompanied by the Silver Ray singers, dancers and orchestra.
The show was called Iconic Rhapsody and featured songs from Billy Joel, Elton John and Queen. All great music and everyone sang along. He had that theater rocking!
After his big show, they gave Alfredo the rest of the night off so after the show we went to the Dolce Vita Lounge and listened to Maria play violin. She is good but I think everyone wanted a little more Alfredo!
After that we headed back to the room to get ready for tomorrow. I’m really looking forward to checking out Sardinia, an island off the coast of Italy, that we’ve never been to. It’s actually part of Italy but floats out in the middle of the Mediterranean. Should be fun! Happy Tuesday to all. Ciao for now!
