Hi Again Folks! We ate at the Silver Note Jazz club restaurant tonight and LOVED it! The food was unique and very good (they had a fun spin on lobster to get my lobster fix in!). And they start you off with this great bread with three yummy toppings you can combine which are Beetroot dusted butter, Gelatin Balsamic pearls, and Olive oil dust with corn starch. Now that’s unique! Also, it was formal night so we got all gussied up!
Their dishes are smaller like a tapas type so of course I tried several. The Beef Tenderloin Tournado just melted in your mouth and the Crab Bites as well as the Onion Petals with Scallops were divine. And don’t get me started on the desserts! They had one called the Black Swan and it literally had a dark chocolate black swan on top of it. So good!
If we can get another reservation in there we’ll be back. And the husband and wife duo from South Africa that sing and play jazz are really good. Definitely one of our best meal experiences!
We then went to the show which had the Silver Ray singers and dancers doing hit songs from many classic movies. I loved when they did Bryan Adams’ song “Everything I do, I Do it for You” from Robin Hood. Did you know that stayed at number 1 on the charts in both the UK and US for 16 weeks which is longer than any other movie theme song? And one of the singers did Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You” from The Bodyguard and nailed it! Such a great show overall.
We then went to listen to our new favorite piano player named Alfredo playing in the Dolce Vita lounge. We then called it a night. Tomorrow we are in Siracusa, Sicily. So excited since we’ve never been there before but have heard great things. Hope everyone had a great Thursday!
