Hi Gang! We made it back to the good ol’ USA! As much as we love to travel, each time we go, we realize what a great country we live in! And we have a very important election coming up soon! Hope you all get out to vote! It should be very interesting!! Like the old Chinese proverb says… “May you live in interesting times”… and it doesn’t get any more interesting! Lol.
Our flight back was uneventful and smooth which are both good. We decided not to fly standby on the way home and used mileage points instead and so glad we did. The flight was oversold and there were 20 people trying to fly standby so we probably wouldn’t have gotten on. Whew… dodged that bullet!
Our flight across the pond from Barcelona to Philly was smooth and on time. We had a 2 hour layover in Philly and the flight to Charlotte was also on time. And we got all our suitcases and none were damaged. Win-win!!
As you know, the Wandering Italian does not sit still before leaving on another trip. In just a few days I’m heading to Hilton Head Island with my daughter and three grandkids to hang out for a few days. Always love spending time with them especially at the beach. Poor Kathy can’t join us since she has to work.
But then in about two and a half weeks, Kathy and I leave for another Mediterranean cruise! Yes, that will really be three cruises to the Med in the last 4 months. SPOILED!! Or as I like to say BLESSED!
Hope everyone enjoyed traveling along with us virtually on this last cruise as much as we enjoyed doing it. Regent Seven Seas is truly the best cruise line out there and I agree with their marketing logo… “An Unrivaled Experience”!
