Hi again Gang! I forgot to mention in my last note… Happy Columbus Day to all! (Yes, us Italians still call it that! Lol). We had a great “Istanbul by Night” tour. We started off driving by the Galata Bridge, the Yeni Camii Mosque and arrived at the Blue Mosque Square to see the night view of the Blue Mosque and the Agia Sophia. WOW! So beautiful!
We then drove to the Kumkapi quarter and walked around and saw the sites and night life. After that we walked to a local Turkish fish restaurant. Another WOW! The food was really good and they gave us tons. Must have been like 10 appetizers and the main was sea bass. So yummy.
After that we returned to the ship and got home just in time to catch the last set of our favorite piano player Mark. We’re still in Istanbul for our final day tomorrow. I paid for Kathy to have an interesting experience tomorrow and I can’t wait to tell you all about it! Hope everyone had a great Monday!
