Hi again All! We had another nice evening. We were invited to a “invitation only” party before dinner for the Seven Seas Society soirée. This is for any passengers who have sailed on Regent before. They told us there were 150 of us (about one third of the passengers on this cruise). The Captain, Future Cruise Consultant and the Cruise Director were all there as emcees. They had specialty drinks, heavy hors d’oeuvres and one of the Regent singers did a special performance for us. Very classy!
There was a couple there that earned the highest level having sailed 750 days on Regent! Given the cost of these cruises, they got some moola! We congratulated them and they were really down to earth people. We now aspire to be them! Lol.
After that we went to dinner and yet again I abstained from lobster! No, I’m fine, don’t panic. But now I’m addicted to those little snails in that juicy sauce called escargot! If it ain’t one shellfish it’s another!
After dinner we skipped the main show and went to see our favorite piano player Mark playing an extended set of all Billy Joel music. The room was packed and we all sang along to those classic tunes. What a fun night!
Tomorrow we are in Greece and at a new port we’ve never been to called Syros. Looking forward to a new experience! Hope everyone had a great Hump Day!
