Rome to Athens  – Hidden Gems and Turkish Shores – Day 4 – Trapani, Sicily – Final Pics!

Sun Sept 30, 2024

Hi again Folks! We had another great night. You can’t beat good food, good service and good entertainment. We are SPOILED!!

We had dinner in Compass Rose tonight and… drum roll please… WE DIDN’T EAT LOBSTER!! I know… I know, you can’t believe it. But my friend Jeremy said if we kept eating them the LPS would come after us. You know, the Lobster Protection Society! Lol. Seriously though, the food was still great, especially the duck!

After dinner we went to the show called “World Rythms” and the Regent singers and dancers did traditional songs from various different countries around the world. Places like Spain, Ireland, Greece and India. And they even sang some of the songs in the countries native language. Really impressive!

After the show we went to listen to our favorite piano player Mark who played all Elton John music. It was so good! And I forgot to mention yesterday that when Kathy came into the piano bar last night, Mark was just finishing up his last song (she had been off playing the slots!). Kathy had this beautiful red dress on and Mark said, “well given that dress she’s wearing I’ll play one more song in her honor”! And he played “The Woman in Red”! So classy!

That’s all for now. Tomorrow we’re at the island of Gozo which is part of Malta. We’ve been to Malta before, specifically to Valletta, but this is a small island off of Malta which will be cool to experience a new place. Hope everyone had a great Monday!
