Hi Again Gang! We had a really fun night and started earlier than we normally do. At 6 PM they had a show that they call “Krew Kapers”. We’ve gone to it on other Regent ships and it’s where they let the crew perform on stage doing singing, dancing or playing instruments. Some of them were amazing! They work so hard taking care of everyone on the ship so it’s nice that they’re given a chance to shine. At the end of the show the Captain and his officers came to say goodbye to everyone.
After the show we listened to the guitar player who’s part of the orchestra but was doing a solo guitar session. And the lounge he was playing in had fun snacks!
After that was the highlight of the night! We ate at the Pan Asian restaurant Pacific Rim! It’s one of the specialty restaurants and is really hard to get into. They allow you to have one night’s reservation but others you have to check each day to see if they have availability and they never do! But glad we got in once since I think it’s one of the best restaurants on a cruise ship (and it might be even slightly better than Prime 7!).
We ate way too much but it was all so yummy. For starters Kathy got the Duck Spring Rolls and the Pot Stickers. I got the Miso Soup, the Alaskan King Crab Roll and the Crispy Soft Shell Crab Tempura. For our mains Kathy got the Canadian Lobster Tempura and the Black Angus New York Strip Loin. I got the Miso Black Cod and the Chinese Barbecue Pork Ribs. For dessert we both got the Tres Leches. Kathy shared a little lobster with me so I got my lobster fix in!
After dinner we went to the show which was the singer from the other night named Becky Porter. Her first night she did the tribute to Adele but tonight she sang great music from the likes of Gladys Knight, the Supremes and Barbara Streisand. She has such a powerful voice!
After the show Kathy pulled a few slots and I chilled to get ready for our big day tomorrow in Santorini. I’ve seen the pictures and heard great things but have never been there. Can’t wait! Hope everyone had a great weekend!
