Hi All! We were actually docked overnight in Trieste but we spent the morning and early afternoon in Ljubljana, the Capitol of Slovenia. WOW, what a beautiful city! But then again, so is Trieste since we spent the late afternoon walking around there. How blessed we are to be able to see two great cities in one day!
For this whole day I’m going to just let the pictures do the talking (and because I’m tired and sweaty from walking all day!) It’s been pretty warm this whole trip so a couple days ago Kathy bought these portable fans we can wear around our necks. They have been a Godsend to keep us cooled down and people keep coming up to us asking what they are and where we got them. Or maybe they think we’re from outer space as you’ll see in a couple of the pictures of us wearing them!
What I will say about both cities is that the architecture is so amazing and the buildings are so grand in nature. I hope you enjoy all the pictures. I’ll do an update after dinner tonight. We’re putting the feed bag on and going to Prime 7, one of the specialty restaurants that we went to a few days back. Look out tummy! Happy Hump Day to all!
PS: These first set of pics are all from Ljubljana in Slovenia. I don’t know the names of many of the buildings but I was just admiring the beautiful architecture!
