Hi Again All! Well we went to the specialty restaurant Prime 7 and strapped the feed bag on and gave it the ol’ college try. And sadly we succeeded! I’d have to say this has to be one of the best restaurants at sea (along with the Pan-Asian specialty restaurant named Pacific Rim on this ship that we’ll be at in a few days). I need to go on a diet before our next cruise, which is not too long from now!
For starters, Kathy had the French Onion Soup and I had the Crab Cake and the Clam Chowder Soup. For our mains, we both got surf and turf but with a slightly different steak. Kathy got the New York Strip and I got the Bone-In Ribeye (and yes, for those counting, this is day 8 of Lobster watch!). For dessert, Kathy got the Caramel Popcorn Sundae (that’s such a fun dessert!) and I got the 14 Layer Chocolate Mousse Cake (that’s such a decadent dessert!).
Since we ate very late tonight we missed the show (an ABBA dance party) and went to the Observation Lounge to hear our pianist friend play all Beatles music. That music truly stands the test of time!
Tomorrow we are back to Croatia to the town of Split. We’ve been there before so we may just get off the ship and walk around on our own. Hope everyone has a great Wednesday!
