Hi Again All! We are easily getting used to this great Regent food. And we sorta took the “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it” approach tonight. Kathy got the same starters as last night which was Escargot and the Beef Carpaccio. I also got the Escargot again but then switched it up and tried the Cream of Asparagus Soup with Smoked Salmon… delicious! For her mains, Kathy got the Maine Lobster which she said was delicious and I got two Lobster Tails and the Ribeye. Both to die for! We both got the Tanzanian Chocolate Cake for dessert… so yummy!
After dinner we went to the show. It was the Captain’s night where we met him (Luciano Montesanto) and his crew in person. Then the entertainer was a comedian/singer/musician named Steven Stevens (I ain’t lying!). He was hilarious! He sang, he told jokes, he played the ukulele & trumpet and he did impressions. Literally a one man show. So glad he’ll be doing another show in a few days!
After the show we went to the Observation Lounge and listened to the piano player do all Elton John songs. Great stuff! We called it an early night since we have another early excursion tomorrow. We’re off to Sicily! Hope everyone had a great Thursday!
