Hi Again Gang! It was so nice getting back to the option of having lobster every night if you want. And of course we both did!
For her starters, Kathy got Beef Carpaccio and Escargot. I got Escargot and Black Mussels for my starters. For her main Kathy got a Lobster Tail, Scallops and Filet Mignon. I got Lobster Tail, Scallops and Dover sole (full on seafood extravaganza!). For dessert Kathy got the Soufflé with Caramel Sauce and I got the Dark Chocolate Mousse. Dang it’s good to be back on Regent!
After dinner we went to the show which was the Regent Singers and Dancers (11 of them in total!) doing a show called Icons. It featured music from the likes of Celine Dion, the Carpenters, Hall & Oates, and others. Great music and cool dancing.
After the show we checked out the three live music venues. The Observation Lounge had a really good piano player (probably where we’ll spend most of our evenings), the Grandeur Lounge had a duo of two male singers which were also very good, and the Meridian Lounge had the Regent Orchestra who backed up the main show and they too were very good. It’s nice to have so much live music on such a small ship (roughly 700 passengers).
Tomorrow we head to Amalfi, Italy and though we’ve both been there, it’s been many years and we’ve never been there together so that will be special. Hope everyone had a great Wednesday!
