Voyage of the Vikings – Day 20 – Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island – Final Pics!

Tues July 16, 2024

Hi Again Gang! I should probably just keep copying and pasting from previous nights (other than our food selection) but we had another great night.

For dinner we both started off with the PEI Black Mussels (when in Rome!) for our first starter and for the second, Kathy got her usual FOS and I got the Smoked Salmon Rosettes. For our mains, Kathy got the Flank Steak and I got the Grilled Miso Glazed Salmon (making it a salmon night for me!). For dessert, we both got the Turtle Pie (what, no salmon for dessert??). And the waiters brought another Anniversary cake for Sue and Stuart and sang to them for their 50th. So fun!

After dinner we went to the show. It was a comedian named Mike Robinson. In the program they said he was a comedian but he was also a ventriloquist and he was hilarious. I pretty much laughed the whole time. One of the best ventriloquists I’ve seen.

After the show I just chilled (the piano player was off tonight) and Kathy pulled some slots. She has a few more days on board to hit the jackpot so we can afford all these cruises!

Tomorrow we’re going to another island which is Cape Breton Island and specifically to the town of Sydney (Nova Scotia not Australia!). Even though we’ve been to this port before, we’ve never gone to the Cabot Trail which is supposed to be beautiful. It is a 185 mile scenic loop around Cape Breton Island. Don’t worry, we aren’t doing the whole thing! Can’t wait to see it. Hope everyone had a great Tuesday!
