Hi Again Gang! While we had a fantastic morning and afternoon, the evening was even more amazing. The food at the Pinnacle Grill rivaled that of Regent Seven Seas and that’s saying a lot! Since we were going to the Upscale restaurant, we all dressed up nicely. Not bad for some oldies but goodies!
For dinner, Kathy and I both got the Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail for an appetizer and we all shared the Clothesline Candied Bacon (dang was that good!). For our mains, Kathy got the Beef Tenderloin with Lobster Dumplings and I had the Boneless Ribeye with two Sea Scallops. For dessert, Kathy had the Creme Brûlée and I had the Chocolate Soufflé. They even brought Kathy a Birthday Cake but we were all so stuffed we just took it back to the room. All the food was fabulous!
We started dinner at 8 and didn’t finish until 10 so we just chilled and listened to music afterwards. We have two sea days next so we’ll have plenty of time to get out of this food coma!
Hope everyone had a great Wednesday. I know this was one of Kathy’s best birthdays! Celebrating your birthday in Greenland… how many people can say that? We are truly blessed.
