Sat July 6, 2024Hi Folks! We had another great day in Reykjavik, Iceland! It was warm and sunny and about 67 degrees so another perfect day for sightseeing. And wow did we see the sites! The scenery around here is gorgeous.
We did an all day tour of what they call the “Golden Circle”. It included the crater Kerid which was formed when a Volcano went off 6,500 years ago! We went to the largest waterfall in Iceland called Gullfoss. We visited their National Park where we saw another waterfall and saw someone getting married there!
We saw a geyser go off (think Old Faithful!) and also stopped to pet a few Icelandic horses (and one of them was pregnant and due in 90 days!). It was an amazing tour and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
I’ll again let the beautiful scenery tell the story since I wouldn’t have the words to describe it better than the pictures can! That’s all for now. I’ll post something after dinner. Hope everyone is having a great weekend!
