Hi Again All! We had another great evening with another great meal and got to see an amazing magician! Can’t beat it!
Our meal was extra yummy tonight. For starters we both had the Buffalo Mozzarella and Tomato dish and then Kathy had the roasted butternut squash soup and I had the seared yellowfin tuna carpaccio. For our mains, Kathy had the prime rib and I had the pan seared fresh dorado (fish). For dessert, we both got the chocolate chip lava cake (one of our favorites!).
After dinner we went to the show which was a magician named Jamie Raven from England. He was not only a great magician but he was really funny too. He came in second in the show Britain’s Got Talent and made Simon Cowell say “You made me believe in magic!” He also did a performance for King Charles and Camilla and will do some of those magic tricks for us in two nights at his next show.
After the show we went to the Observation Lounge to listen to Ana and Humberto like we normally do but got some sad news. They weren’t playing and Humberto came over to us to explain that Ana just got the devastating news that her father was diagnosed with cancer and they may need to leave the ship in two days (we are at sea tomorrow). We will greatly miss them but are hoping for the best for Ana’s father.
Like I said, tomorrow is a sea day so we can sleep in and relax. And on top of that we set the clock’s back an hour so we get an extra hours sleep. YAY! Hope everyone had a great Friday!
