Hi Gang! Today was a sea day so I’ll make this short and sweet. We slept and ate, that’s it! Lol. Actually it was a nice relaxing day. Listened to a speaker on the history of the Caribbean islands. Really interesting.
We also played trivia and came in 2nd place. So maybe we were really carrying that last team!
In the afternoon I went to listen to the speaker discuss our next port and Kathy went to get her “Ocean State of Mind” on by going to a Meditation and Sound Bath class. Or maybe she just needed time away from me!! Lol
We had dinner at our favorite restaurant on the ship, the Pan-Asian one named Sakura. We both got the lobster rolls (of course!) and also both got the lobster Pad Thai (of course!). So anyone know the long term affect of eating too much lobster?? If so, don’t tell us! Lol
After dinner we followed our normal routine of show, slots and piano. Tomorrow we’ll be in Colon, Panama which is the start of the Panama Canal on the Atlantic Ocean side.
Since I only took a few pictures today, I’ll post some from prior days, several of them from the inside of several of the churches and cathedrals we visited. TGIF to all!
PS: Two additional items about this amazing ship.
- Found out we only have 314 passengers on board with 650 crew so that’s an unprecedented 2:1 ratio of crew to passengers. It’s like having a private yacht!
- I gave them feedback last week that they needed to show the NFL football games but they said they couldn’t. Guess what, they’re showing both playoff games tomorrow! Yes, everyone on board can thank me!! Lol
