Hi Folks! Well the Wandering Italian enjoys taking a break from his world traveling and spending time with his family. This past week Kathy, myself, my kids and my grandkids (except my son who couldn’t go since my grand dog had a double ear infection!) had an amazing week in Hilton Head.
If you’ve never been there think about adding it to your beach vacation options. To me, it is one of the most beautiful islands on the east coast and always is near the top of the lists of best family beach.
There’s not only the beautiful beaches but the “look” of the island with all its huge, old oak trees with the Spanish Moss hanging off of them that is so cool. Then you couple that with the amazing wildlife of dolphins, turtles, alligators (there was a little baby and a big momma gator in the lagoon behind our condo!), egrets, etc and you have a virtual National Geographic episode!
We did lots of beaching, biking and swimming and lots of chilling and family time. My two grandkids (one turns 3 next week and the other is 3 and a half) kept us entertained the whole week. We celebrated his 3rd birthday this week with lots of Daniel Tiger stuff! They are both a hoot and are such happy and fun kids to be with. Of course that has to be from their “Pap Pap” role model (Me! Lol).
So I added a bunch of pictures and will let them show you what a great time we had. I have a week off then it’s back on a cruise with two of my kids. Poor Kathy has to work! Let me tell you, retirement is busy when you’re the Wandering Italian! Hope everyone is well!
