Hi Gang! We made it to the Arctic Circle!! It was definitely a trains, planes and automobiles adventure covering 3 days! But we can already see it will be worth it!
I’m not going to write a lot since we’re exhausted and we have an expedition excursion early tomorrow morning. But briefly we flew from Charlotte to London to Oslo to Longyearbyen on Svalbard. Whew… I get tired just thinking about it!
We’re traveling with our friends Carol and Dan from Mooresville, NC and we just finished an amazing dinner so the food is top notch. The lunch was really good too.
The ship is like being on a private yacht! Only 120 people and the ship is very nice.
I’m not sure how great the internet will be since we’re already up past the Arctic Circle (think North Pole!) so I’ll just post this written portion and then try to post some pictures.
