Canada – Bermuda – NYC – Cruise – Day 6 – Charlottetown, PEI – Pics Part 1!

Thursday June 15, 2023

Hi Gang! We spent the day in Charlottetown on Prince Edward Island, Canada. We did an excursion but this one again wasn’t a great one. But then again it was free, which all the ones on Regent are, so maybe you get what you pay for!

We took a bus to what they say is the longest bridge over an icy waterway (which it was not icy today) but the other crazy thing was they charge $50 to cross the bridge. Crazy!

The bus then took us to a shopping area to walk around and get souvenirs. The drive back and forth was very pretty since the island has lots of greenery and walking trails everywhere but the excursion could have stopped at more places. The town itself is really pretty with lots of shops and restaurants. There’s also a beautiful Catholic Cathedral in town as well as a nice boardwalk all along the shoreline.

The rest of the day we chilled and actually started planning another trip possibly on Regent on a different ship. Stop us before we cruise again!! Lol.

One thing I have to say is the food on Regent is the best we’re ever had on a cruise ship. Even better than Seabourn! I finally did not order a lobster tail tonight (but Kathy did!) so I snitched some from here to get my seafood fix. I had this great Thai Barbecue Pork with fried rice that was amazing. And not to mention the decadent flourless chocolate cake! Dang that was good!

We saw another great show, pulled some slots and listened to the piano player play all the classics from Nat King Cole. Such beautiful music.

On to Sydney, Nova Scotia tomorrow!
