Southern Caribbean Cruise – Day 6 – St Kitts – 4/4/23!

Hi Folks! Happy Tuesday! Today was Seabourn’s signature day. On Caribbean cruises they take one day to go to their private beach on St Kitts called Carambola Beach. And they do it up big… serving champagne and caviar in the surf along with an amazing barbecue with as much lobster as you’d like. So in essence that was our day!

We spent most of the day just relaxing on the beach. They had water toys like kayaks, paddle boards, snorkeling gear, etc. available but we just chilled and soaked up the Vitamin D!

When we got back onboard we got cleaned up and decided to try a new restaurant on the ship. It’s called Earth and Ocean and it offers Al fresco dining under the stars. It was such a beautiful night so we decided to try it. The menu is small and rather unique but the food was delicious. My main course, of short ribs that had been marinated for 48 hours, was my favorite meal of the cruise so far!

After dinner we went to the main show which was a compilation of the music of Tim Rice. He’s the person who’s written songs for musicals like Evita, Lion King, Aladdin, Beauty & The Beast, etc. The music and singers were excellent. We ended our day listening to our favorite acoustical due, Elise and Eli.

On to Jost Van Dyke in the British Virgin Islands tomorrow!
