Mexican Riviera- Day 3

Well we had another sea day today and I’ve decided I really love them! Sleeping in, playing trivia, lounging by the pool, eating all day, taking a nap… wait, that sounds like the life of a retired person… I think I can get used to that!! Lol.

We really did all those things and more. They had a fun Beatles and Elvis name that tune trivia that we did good at but didn’t win. Kathy played Deal or No Deal and won $10 in Casino Cash (but no Howie Mandel!). We hung by the pool to get our tans ready for the intense Cabo sun! Played Bocce (and got beat by a little girl)! Worked on our putting on the putting green. And of course got all three meals in along with some snacks.

And while Kathy was off playing the slots in the casino I snuck off to an info session on taking an around the world  cruise with Celebrity. Shhhh… don’t tell her I booked one! Just teasing!! Maybe some day…

We found a new musical group that we really like called “Strings Attached”. It’s just a woman who sings and a man playing guitar but they are so good. We listened to them last night and again twice today (they think we’re stalking them!).

We again had a great dinner. Kathy had Lamb wrapped in phyllo dough and I had a New York Strip Steak. They actually do chocolate slightly better than our last cruise (Azamara) but not as good as a chocoholic like me wants! After dinner we went to the show which was a comedian. He was just OK in my book but the crowd seemed to like him.

Tomorrow we have our first port day. We’ll be in Puerto Vallarta from 8 AM to 4 PM and we have an excursion planned to do sailing and snorkeling. Should be fun! Hope everyone had a great Monday!
