Day 7 – Victoria, BC!

Today is sort of a dual day. Part sea day, part port day. We had a sea day until about 5 PM and then got off the boat around 5:30 PM to walk around Victoria, BC.

So like a sea day, we had a leisurely breakfast in the Main Dining Room and then played a lot of trivia. One of which was the Game of Thrones trivia. With Danny and Jenny as our resident experts we got 25 out of 30 points… and WON!! The big prize was a bronze Royal Caribbean medal (that turns white if it gets wet! Lol).

But actually before our Trivia Game binging, we had to book all our standby tickets and check in. So we really need all your prayers to make sure we get our standby seats assigned! We’re all four flying together from Seattle to Chicago, then Jen will fly to Pittsburgh and Kathy, Danny and I will fly to Charlotte. Keep those prayers coming!!

Victoria was a really beautiful city. We just got off the ship and walked into town. It was about a 20 minute walk but it was along a boardwalk on the way in and thru a park filled with flowers on the way back. There were cool boathouses on the water, horse drawn carriages all over town and the quaintest bed and breakfast places scattered about. Definitely worth a return trip!

What a great cruise we had! We LOVED our waiters we had each night for dinner. In the pic, Kelvin is on the right and Iketut is on the left. They were the best!

Before I forget, since it was formal night last night, Kathy and I ended up taking a nice picture in front of this cool sphere piece of art very late in the evening after I posted yesterday’s blog so I included it today!

I’ll do one last blog posting on Tuesday since we’ll be flying back home all day Monday and not home until late. Hope everyone had a great Labor Day weekend!
