Day 4 – Day at Sea!

First and foremost, Happy Mother’s Day to all the Mom’s out there! I hope you enjoy your special day! I was very blessed to have a great Mom that gave me a solid foundation in life and while she’s passed now, I know she always watches over me as I travel around the world. Thanks Mom!

It’s funny because as someone who loves experiencing new places around the world, and in the next 4 days each town will be brand new to me, I also enjoy the chillness of a day at sea. Sleep in late, have a leisure breakfast, walk around the ship and find all the cool nooks and crannies, lounge by the indoor pool, have a bite at lunch, play some trivia, etc., etc.  And we did all that. Gotta love the cruise life!

We had an amazing dinner of crab cake, shrimp cocktail, rack of lamb and creme brûlée. It was formal night so we got all gussied up! After dinner saw a really good show and a hilarious comedian. After the comedian we went out to the main lobby where they were doing a “silent disco”. I had never seen or heard of that. Everyone wears separate head phones and dances along to their own disco music but you hear nothing. I included a pic since it looked so bizarre!

Tomorrow morning we sail into the town of Bergen and they say the fjord scenery going in is pretty awesome. I heard our ship has to go under two bridges going in and one is only a few feet above the tallest point of the ship. Titanic vibe again??

So once again I’ll send the verbiage first and the pics later. The internet on board is not fast! Must be all these fjords blocking the signal! Lol
