WOW! That was a great winter getaway!! If you ever get the chance to get to Barbados, especially in the winter, go for it! The people are really friendly and the island has a cool vibe to it. And you can’t beat sunny and mid-80’s every day!
Well it was hard leaving paradise. We got up early on Sunday and went down for breakfast. After that we hung by the pool for a few hours and soaked in the last bit of glorious sun. Got checked out of the hotel and got a quick lunch before the airport transfer van picked us up at the hotel.
The flight back was pretty smooth and had a chance to watch two good movies – Rocket Man (Elton John story with great music) and Jo Jo Rabbit (quirky approach to a very deep story about protecting a Jewish girl from the Nazis during WWII).
All in all this was a great vacation! This was the first time I’ve ever stayed at an all inclusive resort and I was really impressed with the food. I didn’t take a whole lot of pics on the last day so I’m sharing some pics from the good food we ate! Until the next trip, have fun and keep on traveling!
