Sunday 5/26/19 – Well today is my last day on this month long journey. It has been an amazing trip and greatly exceeded my expectations. While I really enjoyed every town and village I visited, believe it or not, the first place I started, in Colmar, may have been my favorite. It was a quaint little town with lots of other small villages around it and just felt real homey.
For those that have traveled along with me these many years and trips know I usually get a little deep and philosophical in my last entry. And speaking of Colmar, the one pic I’ll leave you with I took on the first day of the trip in Colmar. I remember seeing it and it just brought a smile to my face.
I know it’s a simple message but to just “be happy” is probably the most important thing we all can do. And what we have the most control of in our lives, which is our disposition or outlook on life. So whether you’re rich or poor. Working or not. Healthy or not. Just try to be happy. Look on the bright side. Don’t judge other people too harshly. Help others where you can. And always be happy with what you have and where you’re at in life because there’s someone else out there who is always worse off than you.
Thanks to all of you for “virtually” traveling along with me. I hope you enjoyed this journey as much as I did. Until next time, travel on!
Jeff
