Here’s a brief summary of a short trip I took to Madrid from 7/30/10 to 8/3/10. The funny reason I ended up here was that I was in Paris and trying to fly back to the United States via standby with US Airways but could not get out. So I took a European puddle jumper over to Madrid and stayed there for a few days until I could get a standby seat home. I checked out all the cool Madrid tourist sites and really enjoyed the place where all the food was one Euro (see pic)! Enjoy!!
