First off, sorry with the delay in my blog. The internet connection went down at my place and never came back up. I've asked my landlord to look into it. I guess I can't expect much when I'm staying in a cabin in the middle of a coffee plantation! But I did get another batch of fresh papaya and apple bananas. But since several of you already wrote and complained about my tardiness, I went to the local McDonald's to get wifi to send this out. Do I love you guys or what?? LOL Well, yesterday I went out for 4 hours deep sea fishing and did not get one bite! None of the 5 of us did. But it was a beautiful day on the water and I caught a really cool sunset with a cruise ship sailing off in the distance (look for the ship in the upper right hand of the pic). In the morning, I explored the northern part of the island. I first drove to the tip where you can't drive any further called Pulolu Valley. I included a pic of the green valley and the beautiful black sand beach there. That area was really cool. I then drove thru this cool little town called Hawaii where they supposedly have the best ice cream. Of course I had to try it and it was pretty good but they didn't offer shave ice. I will continue my search for the best shave ice to compare to the other islands (it's the least I can do!) Near Hawaii on the northern tip is a wind farm. It was soooo windy there I could almost not stand to take the pic. Look for a couple real animals on this "farm". I forgot to mention that while we didn't catch any fish, there were tons of spotted dolphins swimming along with us jumping in the air and doing all kinds of tricks. Wild stuff. See if you can spot one in the water off the side of the boat. Well that's all for now. The McDonald's people think I'm some homeless guy hanging out here just using their internet so I better get going. Today already has been a really cool day and I have a real bucket list item scheduled for tonight that I can't wait to tell you about in tomorrow's blog. Hang loose!
